Separate a form’s name from its equipped role
In Xbox Wire’s March developer presentation, the loadout assigns a Primary form to basic attacks, a Secondary form to special or charged attacks, and a combo ender to the finisher. Read those separate roles in your current loadout before swapping a form. The same preview also names a Whip form; the table above preserves the four names in the February overview rather than claiming a complete launch catalog.
Compare forms by the job you need done
- Choose a familiar encounter and keep the rest of your setup stable.
- Use one form and note whether its attack sequence reaches the target and leaves time to recover.
- Repeat with a second form. Record which opening each form handles comfortably.
- Pair the forms around those roles, then test how easily you switch between them.
Field-guide comparison method. No invented damage values, combo frame data, or universal best-form claim.
Upgrades are part of the wider build
Inspect unlocked forms and upgrades alongside abilities, Talents and Core Upgrades. A preferred loadout is the kit you choose to use; it is not the complete list of progression systems you can improve.
